Scott Lewis, CFA
Chief Investment Officer, Portfolio Manager/Analyst
Scott
founded Lewis Capital Management in 2000. Prior to establishing
his own firm, Scott was an associate portfolio manager and analyst
for Beverly Hills-based Joel R. Mogy Investment Counsel, Inc. from
1997 to 2000. From 1991 to 1997, Scott was a securities attorney
at Latham & Watkins primarily working on public securities matters
for clients such as Morgan Stanley, Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch,
Chase Manhattan Bank, and the Walt Disney Company.
Scott graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley in 1987 with a bachelor’s
degree in economics and obtained his law degree cum laude from the University
of Michigan in 1991. He is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles,
the CFA Institute and the State Bar of California. He is a Chartered
Financial Analyst.
Barbara Bagley, CFA
Portfolio Manager/Analyst
Barbara
joined Lewis Capital Management in 2006. From 1995 to 2005,
she worked as a portfolio manager and analyst for Doheny Asset
Management, a Los Angeles-based investment counseling firm
for private and institutional clients. At Doheny Asset Management,
Barbara was a key member of the firm’s equity strategy team
and managed private client and institutional portfolios. Barbara
also supervised the firm’s municipal bond investments. From
1991 to 1995, Barbara worked at J.P. Morgan California. She
began her career as a financial analyst at Lehman Brothers
in New York City in 1989.
Barbara graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 1989
with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and literature. She
is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society
of Los Angeles and the CFA Institute. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the LA Fire Department Scholarship Fund, which provides educational scholarships to children of LA City firefighters.
